Novembers for Albanians

I love Peace

Last day’s of November in Albania and Kosovo and everywhere where Albanians live are celebrating days. The November is flag month for Albanians, is the month when lot of things happened.
On November 1443 Skenderbeu (Albanian hero) won the fight from Ottomans and took of their flag and rise red flag with the black eagle like a symbol of the Albanians. He kept Albania for 25 years free and he prevent the Europe to be occupied by ottomans. After his death Albanians again become under ottoman invaders.
But they never stopped fighting ottomans, so in the 28 November 1912 they attainment to rise a flag and to announce Independence of Albania. The flag was same just like Skenderbeu’s flag; just this time was rise by Albanian hero Ismail Qemaili and was sew by Marigona. There was a lot of Kosovars there because they announce Albania independent state with all the ethnic places on it. But, there were a lot of wars after this, and some of the Albanians territory left outside this state.
Anyway Albanians in Kosovo never stopped to fight for freedom so this made a lot of thing to happen. On November is born Adem Jashari, the legendary hero of Kosovars and the father of the KLA. November is a month when KLA (Kosovo Liberty Army) for the first time appears in public. So, this is month when Albanians made big changes for their faith and this is the month when every Albanians respect these hero’s that done so much to free this country.
On November when you walk down street in Kosovo, you can feel the celebrating atmosphere and you see shine faces of all Albanians which are proud more then ever to be Albanians. Today the first thing that I sow when I opened a window was three flags: Albanian flag, Kosovo’s flag (that is still symbol of Kosovo’s because we know that symbols need to be approved from people by referendum), and USA flag like thank for helping us.
Everyone that I met these days hopefully says that this will be the last year that we are celebrating just Albania’s Independence, ‘cause next year we will celebrate our Independence also with new date and new flag. I will go out tonight; I will call my friends, and will take a red flag and will celebrate and pray God for Kosovo’s independence and PeAcE.
