Back on blogg

I love Peace

Hey...finally I decided to return and write again on blog. It had been long time that I have completely ignored this blog. It’s not that there was not what to be written or what to say about the events on Kosovo, but somehow I have been busy by trying to be part of these events so I didn’t have too much time to sit in front of computer and write down all events.

All this time I’ve been to busy by trying to improve the local government on my city (municipality of Ferizaj), by working on a local Network of NGOs volunteer (beside my regularly work), by trying to improve the local governance and increasing the participation of citizens on decision making/taking processes.

There is a group of organizations on this network (wich most of their members and volunteers are students) so together we have affect on the local government to improve lots of things such as: respecting legislative regulations, organizing public meetings for taking citizens opinions about different issues, addressing citizens problems, monitoring the Municipality Assemble, implementing different projects from different donator’s, helping on returning process and also rehabilitation process of returned families mostly Serbians by implementing projects for integrating them on Kosovo society (such as village Bablak the most successful returned process in Kosovo).

Now we are trying to give our experience to other municipalities by implementing a big project on 8 other municipalities in cooperation with local NGO-s.

We have achieved our objectives successfully and we have been helpful on these issues and I’m proud that I have been part of this. Maybe this is a little help for all the processes that are going around for final status of Kosova, but the good and healthy governance starts from local governments, therefore if all local governments works in proper way, there is no chance to have non functional of main Government. That’s the reason why I will still be part of this and keep up with a good work mabye not only on my city.

Something new: I’m looking forward to change my regulary job. Not because I don't like it, but my corrently job is not related to my studies and since on more year i will graduate my university, i need to have experience on political sciencies and public administration feeld which will be very helpfull for my future carriera. it will be defficult for me to leave my corrently work since I've been working there for two years and also i get a good payement but there is always one reason for taking one decition.... and I finally took this decition today when i've found a nice announcement to work as a legislative assistant on Kosova Parliament, so I’m preparing my documents to apply (the only thing that makes me hesitate to apply is that the job time is only for 6 months... and I need one year contract), but anyway I will apply… because from October I will start going school again and if I’m going to work like now: on my regular work,NGO and school at the same time I will fail on all, so if I get this new job I will be part of processes in Kosovo where I can help to improve things, and also I will have enough time to study. I feel sorry that I need to leave from my city but that’s how humans are….ALWAYS WANTS MORE…..

Now I gotta go,

Tomorrow I will publish a political analyze about the ongoing negotiations for Kosovo status.

Bye
